Hi there! Im James!
James Moutsos! I’m an animator, filmmaker, editor, and illustrator based in Brooklyn, New York. I love exploring fantastical stories that place everyday characters into otherworldly and often comical scenarios. My recent short, Kid Nature, was a recipient of the 2024 NBR Student Grant, and screened at multiple film festivals like the Hollywood Shorts Fest and the Sweaty Eyeballs Animation Festival. You can find all of my shorts and sketch videos on my instagram and youtube STUDIO JIMMAKI, and much of my freelance animated work on Indigo Studios NYC. I think my multi-faceted skillset, strong understanding of software like Premiere Pro, After Effects, Dragonframe, creative ideas, and an overall joy for creating can make me a fantastic candidate to work for YOU!
